One of a kind you are. I know we all have heard this before, but I feel compelled to provide you with a gentle reminder of just how special you are. Before I say anything else, let me welcome you to a safe space that was created and cultivated from the one and only Living God. Yeah that’s right. Woes of a Pretty Girl was an idea that was on a vision board for a long time and became a reality when I was attending graduate school in 2017 when one of the assignments was to create a blog. I had to laugh to myself because I knew it was God getting my attention and I could not break away from because a grade was attached to it. So here I am years later with this blog that I have been dragging my feet to attend to.

I am saying all of this to say that the sole purpose of this blog is to encourage and empower women to be the best version of themselves.

Your journey is your own. Your path is your own.

Stop looking to the left and right of you and zero in on what’s ahead of you.

The reality is the only way you can tap into your purpose of life, your WHY, your calling.

Is to tap into your relationship with THE Creator, the #1 stunna, thee Alpha and thee Omega. The trinity, God, Holy Spirit and Jesus Christ.

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.“ John 14:6

So now that is known. I’m here to encourage you to MAX out. To ask God to help you understand WHY He created you! You are special and unique. You truly are 1 of 1! 

No one was born on the same day to the same exact parents, at the same time in entirety of Life as we know it. even with twins one has to come out before the other. They may be identical in appearance but even how they perceive the world will be different than their twin.

There is so much beauty in knowing that no one can do you better than you and the reality only you know what God speaks in your ear. The idea, the design, the song, the poem… whatever your thing is. Cultivate you. 

People have the tendency to make you feel bad when you are different but the reality we all are in our own unique way.

My prayer for you is that in this first month of 2024, that you will take out the time to appreciate how far you have come. Thank God for keeping you and now lean into understanding and embracing the beautiful unique individual God has created you to be.

Having the greater understanding that life is short, and we must seize the moment and the season we are in. No one can do you better than you! Everyone will not understand or even like you and that is okay. As long as you are fulfilling your God-ordained purpose that is what it is all about.

I look forward to what comes next for us all…expecting the Absolute Best for us all!!
